Day 21 | CAN I STAY?
Friendships ended, marriages are broken, loved ones leaving. Those are just some points in life that nobody wouldn’t want to have. But hey, the grass is greener on the other side. And we are never alone even just for a second.
For those who experienced being left by a loved one, or in other case being an outcast in the society or in their own family; they said it is those times where they most felt the presence of something divine, a gentle comfort from a Father. It is true, when we are left with absolutely nothing, most likely that is when our eyes will finally be opened to the realities which are larger than ourselves.
At some point in our lives, when we feel like we have nobody; it’s hard, but grasp this though, we don’t have to be alone. We were never alone. Jesus sticks closer than a brother. You are His creation whom He loved so much that He died for you. He will never leave you nor forsake you, even more in times of distress. So cheer up, you’re not alone ;)

"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." ~Deuteronomy 31:6

Day 20 | WRESTLING WITH GOD’S HANDS
It’s been about 5 months since my last post in this blog. Yes, it’s such a shame really. It’s been about a year now since I’ve come facing the worst of my procrastination attitude, and for these couple of months there’s just so much wrestling with God. I maybe can’t elaborate it well right now because I think there is still a lot of comprehending to come. But some pieces of the puzzle is slowly falling into its place. Started to make sense a little bit.
Wrestling with God, what it means to me, lately in my case is not really kinda opposing His will or trying to go against what is good. Rather it’s more likely inclined to His will and to do good… but doing it with my own strength. For me it meant trying to do a good thing for Him and for others as well, but it just seemed like He’s not backing me up. Was like I was on my own, trying to manipulate things a bit to have a good result I desire, and sometimes forcing myself to do it in a different way. Yes my intentions are good. Yes I believe my desires are good and that God Himself put that desires in my heart. But like any other wrestling match, somebody’s gonna do some tapping or surrender in some point. Well, between me and God, there’s no question who’s going to right?
He just want us to give it to Him. Not just our struggles and pains but even the good plans that we have. Every bit that composes our life should be surrendered to Him. And with that He then can work and do good and great things through us. It is God working through us, not us working through us, our own selves. Man I can’t imagine how exhausting to do God’s job! Haha, yeah I was like trying to do His job instead of just doing my part, as just His vessel that He intended me to be. It was like trying to move something that only God can move. We really can’t please God, without God.
I remember something I’ve read in an article with an interview with Brooke Fraser, one of the worship leader of Hillsong Australia. She said that before that, she was doing her thing, doing stuff her own way, but she always felt that God keeps on tugging her and she knew that God’s gonna use her. And so finally after so much conviction she said to God, alright God, I’m gonna do it, but I don’t even have to lift a finger. Wonderful isn’t it?
Well I hope and God willing you’ve learned something from this experience and that God would continue to open our eyes and show us the things that we should be aware of.

What sorrow awaits those who argue with their Creator. Does a clay pot argue with its maker? Does the clay dispute with the one who shapes it, saying, ‘Stop, you’re doing it wrong!’ Does the pot exclaim, ‘How clumsy can you be?’ ~ Isaiah 45:9

day 19 | MY WHISPER
If we still constantly worry about tomorrow or how we can attain that or this, if we still keep doubting and fixated to ‘what ifs’, if we still continue to fear what lies beyond what we see; then I think we’re pretty much ignorant about our God, whom we claim to know and believe.
Let’s refresh it a little bit. Do you really have an idea who God is? Have you forgotten even the basic and simplest thoughts about Him? Like, He’s the one who created the heavens and the earth, He is the source of life and the beginning of everything, He is perfect, He is immortal, the one who created you, the one who runs everything according to His perfect plans. Well, those are the basics yet more than enough reason to entrust your whole life to Him, letting go of everything into His perfect mighty hands. Why waste time and energy worrying about something when God had you already taken care off? The God of the universe who has the authority over everything already had it all in His hands. All you need to do is believe, trust, and obey Him in all things and situations.
He is GOD. What more can we ask?

Then Jesus walked over to the coffin and touched it, and the bearers stopped. “Young man,” Jesus said, “I tell you, get up.” Then the dead boy sat up and began to talk! And Jesus gave him back to his mother.  ~ Luke 7:14-15

day 018 | APPLE OF HIS EYES
In the beginning there was Adam and Eve, then they disobeyed God (then the very first sin in the history of man was recorded), and because of that they were separated from God’s presence, then Adam and Eve bear sons and daughters, and their sons and daughters still keep on sinning, and their children multiplied even more, and still keep on sinning, then they made many descendants, and their descendants still keep on disobeying God and keep on sinning. God sent prophets to correct them, and guess what? They still keep on sinning. So on and so forth, creating a huge gap between man and God.
So, with that chain of events running in circles, everyone was and is and will always be a sinner, and Hells real estate business is booming. Tickets to hell were always sold out. If there is nothing done to break this cycle then life would be like “birth, to hell” - from birth, then straight to eternal death. And it goes on like that forever.
Then God, deeply saddened as He’s watching below His most loved creation among all that He had made(man), making their way straight to self destruction. Because of LOVE, what God did was He sent His one and only begotten son JESUS CHRIST to the world and put ALL THE SINS(which is the cause of all being thrown to hell - eternal death) of men, and compressed it all to one man - JESUS CHRIST. And God diverted all His Wrath on that sin with JESUS CHRIST(who took that sin from us). Then JESUS CHRIST died on the cross, with our sins on Him. We were cleansed by His blood. Through His death we were saved and attain eternal life.
God did that all just for us to be saved. To save us from self destruction, from eternal death, and for us to have life and have it more abundantly. We live because JESUS CHRIST died. Died for us, died for our sins, and died because it.
Come think of it, who are we that someOne would die for us? Who are we that GOD, the creator of life, and the heavens and the earth, would do such unfathomable sacrifice for us? Who are we? We are His own, and we matter to Him. Both you and me matters to him individually. And Because He LOVES us SO MUCH, and we are the apple of His eyes.
After 3 days when JESUS CHRIST died, God raised him from the dead. And He now sits on the throne beside GOD His father who is in heaven. And now, God offers us free gift of salvation, living an eternal life with Him. It’s a free gift for everyone, everyone regardless of anything. God is reaching out to you, He is calling you, and I encourage you to respond to it.

day 017 | HOLD ON
Yep, He’s not just there on a chair and sipping his lemon juice while watching you endure and persevere through life. Instead, He is actually with you in all your undertakings. He is going through the same exact thing whatever it is that you are going through.
When you made Jesus Christ the God of your life, He didn’t said that we’re all be living in rainbows and butterflies here on earth after that. God didn’t promised a problem free life. What He promised us is the assurance that He will never leave us nor forsake us, regardless of whatever circumstance. He does not remove the trials along our way, but He will be with us all throughout the storm, with His grace sufficient enough for us. You ask why not just do the magic and make everything simple? Why? Because God is not selfish and use His divine authority to make us choose Him. He wants it to come from our heart, that’s also why He gave us the free will. And because He is building a character in us through these tests, the person that He wanted us to be.
As long as we’re here in this world, we’ll always be humans, fragile and vulnerable. But no matter how bitter it can be, Jesus will always be right with us, tapping our backs and saying, hold on, we’re gonna make it.

For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end; ~ Hebrews 3:14

day 016 | FAITH IS
Yes, faith is when “it’s not there”, yet we keep on insisting it is there. It’s not a make belief, but rather going beyond where believing is just not enough.
It is a common thing where one truly believes on a particular subject, but sadly all around him is just not making it a reality. What you hear, what you see, and even what you feel, is all contradictory to what you wanted - they’re just not building you up, instead all is going the opposite way to a point where you say to yourself “Am I going the right direction?” or you might wonder if anything still makes sense at all. Most of the time, this is where most people stopped and quit. When we totally depend on ourselves and on what we just see, then achieving that what you still don’t have in your sight would be a problem.
Faith is not based on our emotions, our environment, or in our situation whether good or bad. It goes beyond what it is. It is placing or surrendering everything to someOne who can do everything without failing. Obviously to God, to Jesus Christ.
So if you believe, and have faith in God, and that HE can do it for you - then it shall come to pass regardless of what circumstance you are into, regardless of how the world tells you not to, and no matter how you might think it’s impossible. It shall be done for you. Why? Simply because God, is God. And He is our Heavenly Father, and to top it all, because He loves you more than anything else in this world.
Just simply have faith, submit and obey. :)

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. ~ Hebrews 11:1

day 015 | I CAN FIX YOU
So much brokenness. The world is just full of people with heavy shoulders. Heartaches, hurts, torments, or whatever you call it - man it’s just lurking in every corner you can find. Rich, poor, famous, unknown, healthy, terminally ill - it just hits everybody, yes even those who you think they have everything to enjoy life.
And hey, don’t get God wrong about it. He did not created you so that anytime He can hurt you. God does not take joy by seeing someone suffering. He only desires the best for you. You may not be conscious about it but all great things, good gifts in all aspects of your life comes from God. He is the sweetest Father of all. And on the other hand, there is also someone out there so agitated to get your life stripped off from what God has excitedly prepared for you. Satan has his own sophisticated weapons and strategies aimed for a single purpose - to bring you down!
Well, don’t get surprised. The enemy knows your heart as well. Satan knows your weak spots, and bombards you with just everything he knew, until you walk home limping and gasping for hope. It’s the devil who made that overloading lies in your head, all that junk that’s making you stop believing and feel bad about yourself or about life. Slowly until it consumes you inside out without you knowing it - leaving you depleted and severely broken.
But hey, wait, it aint over yet. You’re still breathing! Gather yourself back and realize that in all that you’ve been through, God’s grace was sufficient enough to sustain you up to this day. Why? Because He doesn’t want you to give up! He wants you live the life He prepared for you. No matter how empty, wrecked, and broken you think you are, you were never alone. God is with you every step of the way - even if you gave up on Him, even if you’re denying Him, or mad and hated Him because you think He’s not helping you on your situation, or even if you don’t know Him.
Realize this, His hands were always reaching out to you, just waiting for you to tag Him. He just want you to give it all to Him. Give the stirring wheel to Him, without taking it back from time to time. He can FIX everything for you. You just have to let Him.

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. ~ John 10:10

day 014 | EMPTINESS
It’s so interesting that problems with regards to emotional aspects are so much higher and getting more and more common in First World Countries spite the fact that they have everything to enjoy life, compared to the Third World Countries who some people are risking their lives just to have even the smallest of food to fill their hunger.
To those that has that feeling of emptiness, lacking, vacuum, or void in their hearts, or whatever you call it. I understand that the feeling is just extremely frustrating, exhausting, and so hard to explain. Its just breaking your life and sanity apart. Most of us try to fill that hole in the heart with just about anything that offers pleasure - food, career, relationships, pornography, sex, drugs, fame, adventure, and what have you. And guess what, did it seal that emptiness? No. It only distracted the real issue, and after that - back to reality. One can search till the deepest, highest, and farthest ends of the earth, and try everything the world offers, but still cannot fill that gap in your heart. Why? Because one seeking in the wrong place, with the wrong people, and with the wrong things. Lost for short.
You may not understand it, or may understand but not believe it. This is the only truth above all that you are seeking, that JESUS CHRIST ALONE IS ALL THAT YOU NEED to seal that hole in your heart. He is the perfect fit for that void in you, it’s His appointed room He placed in your heart even before you were born. He is now calling you and inviting you to let Him in into your life.
If you’re serious about that emptiness in you, or if you’ve come to a point in your life where you’ve tried almost everything but nothing worked to uplift you, - well all I can say is, HE’S ALL YOU’VE GOT. I encourage you to get a hold of yourself for this one time and give GOD a chance to FIX you. Click here if you are interested and it will take you to a new page.
This is all I can help you, you maybe weren’t able to grasp fully in understanding what I was talking about, but I just encourage you to give this time your best shot, and I know GOD will take care of the rest.

You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore. ~ Psalm 16:11

day 013 | WARNING
At times we try to bend the law to a point where we are unconsciously breaking it, just to get the things we want - the easy way. We try to make our own law, a kind of that works perfectly with our interests.
Our longings, our weaknesses, our desires and deepest needs, obviously these are the things which the Temptation is working its way in us. And the funny thing is temptation comes strongly when we’re dry and thirsty, when we’re trying not to feed our fleshfull desires and intentions. All humans are vulnerable, even Jesus Christ was tempted by satan when He was fasting for 40 days. Imagine it, NO FOOD for 40 days, how hungry could it be? Then satan appeared and said to Jesus, “If you are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread.” - satan not only tempted Jesus for the FOOD but also for using God’s power for selfish intentions.
Yes we are human, even the righteous fail because of temptation, everyone can fall into temptation. But it is not an excuse to fall into it. For God is faithful, and He will not let us be tempted beyond our ability, but with the temptation He will also provide the way of escape, that we may be able to endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13).

Do not pervert justice or show partiality. Do not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and twists the words of the righteous. ~ Deuteronomy 16:19

~ Deuteronomy 16:19

day 012 | I GOT THIS
We may not realize it but oftentimes we overthink things, making even those very simple stuffs - complicated. We take everything into our own hands, carrying the entire weight of the situation onto our frail shoulders.
When our standpoints are shaken and when times are so stiff, we tend to forget that we’re not on our own, we are not living by ourselves. And that there is someone so much bigger than the problem, who is so thrilled to help us. At times we put our trust into people, ended up failing also. Why not on God? Maybe because we think the problem is so big, making us insecure to put our trust to someone we cannot see. Tsk tsk. Doubting not only hinders success but also displeases God, as well as jeopardizing our salvation.
God wants us to just put all our trust in Him. To give it all up to Him no matter how big or small. He’s got it everything in his hands, all under control. We may not understand, we might not see the bigger picture, and may not see His hands moving - we just got to trust His heart. Relax, He’s got you already taken care of.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. ~ Philippians 4:6

day 011 | I LOVE YOU ANYWAYS
Wow. Is it that easy to forgive? Is it that simple to LOVE that much? Who are we that the King of all kings, the Creator of the universe, the GOD OF ALL - took an effort to do an act which we are so unworthy even to talk about.
Parents reject their own sons, wives despise their own husbands, children hated their own fathers. People may look down on us for whatever reasons, may it be a thing we’ve done so long ago, or maybe because of our personality, or even for having a disease! Sometimes we feel our lives are just so messed up that we stop believing we could ever be forgiven and accepted again.
Well, even if the whole wide world turn its back on you, there would always be someone in the midst of that silent corners, so eager to run, shout your name and embrace you, just as you are. His name is Jesus. Your creator, and he understands you just as you are, more than anyone in this world. He forgives, He cleanses, and He transforms those who come to Him.

And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. ~ John 8:11b

day 010 | OUR ONE AND ONLY ONE
To whom are you doing things for? And for what reasons are you doing it for? Is it for fame? To impress others, to make yourself great in the eyes of men?
We must be careful in our intentions in doing things. For God does not look on the outside, but in the inside, He looks within the contents of our hearts. And the thing is, all that we speak, think, and do here on earth boils down to one accountability: accountability to God. Whether we are doing it for another person or two, it will be like we are just doing it for God.
So we must be watchful in everything that we do, in our intentions and in our desires. For God is our only audience, and everything else is just a mirage.

For of Him, and through Him, and to Him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen. ~ Romans 11:36

day 009 | COME AS YOU ARE
Do you have that notion that before you can come or be accepted by God, first you must be spotless, no traces of sin, ‘holy’ as you can be, or where there’s no more fixing needed to be done to yourself in order for you to be worthy enough to stand before GOD?
Well, actually it’s pointless to do that, because we can never have a point in our lives where we don’t have any stains on our faces. It would take a whole lifetime if we wait for that day where we become spotless. As long as we’re here in this world, we will always be like kids playing in the mud. And we cannot cleanse our hearts by ourselves. We cannot forgive ourselves. And that ugliness inside us just builds up day by day as we decide to stand before God in a later time, ‘when the time is right’. And as it builds up, time will come that it will eat you from the inside out, it will finally consume you. Only God can forgive us, only Him can cleanse us. Only He can make us worthy before Him.
So stop frustrating yourself on trying to fix everything before coming to Christ. He knows everything about you. He wants you to come as you are, and leave the transformation to Him.

As Jesus went on from there, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax collector’s desk and said to him, “Follow me.” So he got up and followed him. ~ Matthew 9:9

day 008 | STILLNESS
How many times have you panicked whenever things aren’t going as you’ve planned? Those times when you knew you’ve just screwed up everything and there’s no doubt you just placed yourself into some deep pothole.
Do you still remember that feeling? That rush, and you were just acting out from your instinct. Well, there are instances that the decisions were made during those times ended up being terrible and just worsen things up. You simply don’t know what to do and wished you just collapse right in the scene and wake up when everything’s fixed.
The thing is, you focused on yourself, striving to fix things up by yourself when you knew it’s beyond your control. Or you placed your hope to some person or people who in turn couldn’t do anything either. Only one can do what we cannot  do. Only one can do what is impossible for us. He is GOD.
Why not just pause a bit, be still and give it up. Let go of it and let GOD be GOD. You don’t need to understand everything or how He does it. You just need to put every bit of your trust in HIM. Leave it all to GOD. And lastly… relax, He’s got you already taken care of.

Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. ~ Psalm 46:10

day 007 | CONTENTMENT
Yeah just like the image above. No fancy colors and artworks, just a plain background and a text. For some it may seem lacking, but if one would just look beyond the picture and grasp the message, then I believe one could realize that everything just perfectly fits into the situation.
Just like we do. We feel so lacking and discontented at times, and just having that thought that we need more than what we have in order to accomplish something. ‘If only I have this then I can do that’ kind of thinking. But if we would just focus on God and realize that HE IS GOD, and just thank Him for what we have. By then we become aware that we have ALL that we need after all.
HE is our Jehovah Jireh, the God who Provides. Yes He truly provides all our needs and not lacking anything. Sufficient enough for our needs, but not for our greeds.

"Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content." ~ Philippians 4:11
